Running

I wish I ran better but until that day these are some of the things that make my mediocre runs more bearable (aside from 2 sports bras).

Body Glide-As a girl who has two thighs that rub together this has become a saving grace.  After around 5 miles my skin says, "WTH" and get angry with me.  My first 1/2 marathon I knew nothing about this miracle substance and paid for that afterwards.  Now that I am much the wiser my skin thanks me.

Spi Belt- This handy dandy belt hold just enough to keep my hands free. I hate running with things in my hands. I keep my key and iPod in there and then run the earbuds under my shirt and it works well so I don't have to fumble like and idiot and drop things mid-run.  It sits at my waist comfortably and I can stand it, so that's a plus.

Brooks Running Shoes- I have tried other types of running shoes but always come back to this brand, they are just made for my feet. I love the Adrenaline GTS 11's.  Definitely invest in the time to get fitted for the right shoes for you, it makes all the difference in the world.

Visor or Sweaty Band- I'll use about anything to keep my hair out of my face and these I have found work really well for me and they don't slide around even when your hair is wetter than just stepping out of the shower.

Sweaty Bands Chakra Dots...
Garmin Forrunner 405- This watch has definitely made a difference in my runs.  I'm a little OCD about certian things and this lets me know how far and how fast slow I've run so that I can keep track in my little running log and then I can obsess about what I'm not doing right.

Music- Seriously, come to the concert that I put on in my head during my runs.  I'm the star of course and I can always dance like nobody's business. Music makes my long runs short and the short runs fast. I struggle without it most days.
